Harris Family Foundation
The Harris Family Foundation is a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF). Its purpose is to make charitable grants that will make meaningful change in the areas of health and medical research, disability, troubled youth, homelessness, animal welfare and environmental conservation. In 2024 the family are proudly launching the Harris Family Dream Factory
In an Australian first, The Harris Family Dream Factory is a large office space specifically designed to house a range of leading Australian not for profits in a collaborative ecosystem. These organisations occupy the Dream Factory free of cost, which enables them to dedicate more of their revenue towards important front line programs.
REACH Foundation
REACH Foundation supports young people to discover their power.
In 2001, the Harris family purchased the building for REACH in Collingwood to hold its positive and preventative mental health programs for young people aged 10 to 25 each year through unique, youth-led school workshops and community programs.
Harris Housing Project
The Harris Housing Project, built homes for 47 people who were sleeping rough on Melbourne streets.
In this first-of-its-kind housing project, Launch Housing and the Harris Family Foundation delivered 47 architecturally designed studios to people experiencing long-term homelessness on government land in Melbourne’s West.
STREAT Youth Training Academy
STREAT is a social enterprise that provides marginalised young people with supported training and employment pathways into jobs in the food industry.
In 2013, the Harris family purchased a property in Collingwood and gifted its use to STREAT for 50 years. The property is now STREAT’s headquarters and has been redeveloped into a youth training academy which trains and supports 365 young people each year.

Straight Bat deepen our partnership with Books and Boots
Straight Bat team members Jakub Grzelak & Steve Gledden recently delivered 10 boxes of books to Berimba childcare centre in Echuca as part of our ongoing partnership with Books and Boots. We were also thrilled to host Books and Boots as our community partner at the recent Straight Bat annual review event held in the MCG’s Long Room where we heard from co-founder John Harding.

Mosaic Charity Showcase
We are proud to have hosted our second annual Mosaic Charity Showcase in November this year. The event was attended by nearly 200 people, including corporate sponsors NAB, CBA, Bluerock and Stannards. The Harris Family Foundation proudly donated $20k towards a grand total of nearly $100k that was raised for Equine Pathways Australia.

Epworth Medical Foundation scholarships awards night
As part of his role on the board of the Epworth Medical Foundation board, Brad Harris had the privilege of awarding scholarships in the Sofitel ball room with a full house in attendance. More than 100 Nurses and Doctors where recipients of Scholarships on the night, of these 5 were perpetual Epworth scholarships proudly donated by the Harris Family.

Turning the first sod on the Harris Elite training and Admin facility
Geoff and Brad Harris where pleased to join Prime Minister Albanese, HFC President Andy Gowers and many other club officials and dignitaries to turn the first sod on the Harris centre as part of the Kennedy Community Centre project. The Harris family donated $10m towards the project.
